MoM - Man on Mission

A real big title. This post again comes from 36000 ft above ground, cruising at not less than Mach 0.80. After half n full marathon, I used to look 3 year back. I was having breathing issues or asthma and taking 2 capsules a day. Things were under control provided I took care of what I ate and when.

Then running happened n my dose came down to 2 capsule per week. I was clocking in miles after miles at good pace. And then suddenly I completely stopped my medicine somewhere in June 2015. I continued exercise and ate what I wanted. No restrictions. Over- confident crept in and I started taking things for granted. I used to have occasional colds and blocked noses. Running  reduced and so did the endurance limit. It is in this form that I participated in full marathon which was nothing less than a disaster.

I used to give examples to my friends how my running n little dedication helped me to quit my medicines. Deep down I had one question for myself, why do I always compare myself with what I was 3 years ago? Why don't I say that last year my health was ABC or running speed was xyz n this year it improved IJK. Answer lies in the fact that I became complacent. I stopped improving just because I took things for granted.

Every time I caught a cold, I used to say to myself that I won't let this repeat again. But it came back again and again. Last week I was in Gujurat. Too much of heat and improper diet deteriorated the health further. I was forced to take my medicines again, 2 capsules a day for 3-4 days. I just that medicine.

Now, as I go back to my second home n into my daily routine, I will attempt to achieve the highest quality of health. Started following healthy diet since a week and it has made me a pinch slimmer. So, Man on Mission is me moving towards a healthier me. Have started cycling and skating to increase my endurance and also serve the purpose of cross training. There is an endurance event in Chennai in July and again in December, which is my prime focus currently.

Taking out 90 mins daily for  exercise seems no big deal. But then I have other passion of juggling which required minimum of 5 hours a week. Then reading non-acadrmic books for an hour daily. Then some office related technical studies. I decided to make a nice plan and follow it religiously a month back, but nothing materialised. This time, MoM is determined to make the things work.

Let us see how much endurance I have to smartly Juggle these stuffs.

Happy Flying !!
